In love. You ask for mild but it will still be a little spicy because they are legit. Love that they include fries with your meal, tastes so good dipped in the sauces. Naan so perfect with a chewy bite. Mango lassi beautiful. Thank you.

Probably one of the better Biryanis I've had in Portland. Hauling from the east coast, specifically Jersey City and oak tree road, I have a high standard for good Indian food. This place brings flavor and spice for Portland. I'm very happy to have stumbled upon this gem tucked in with other food vendors in the zoiglhaus brew hall. Nothing beats Jersey east coast Indian food but this is a nice second to remind me of home. Great portions too!

Update (Sept 2024): Hamara is so good. The food and service have been excellent every time we've eaten here or ordered take out. The chicken korma is astounding and incredibly comforting. And the samosa chaat continues to delight. Eat here! Original (Feb 2024): All the dishes we've tried here are delicious! Especially excited we found a place in Portland that serves delicious samosa chaat.

Naaz is very wonderful and shows care for people that are in the Zed! The Lamb Curry was absolutely amazing, the Garlic Naan also pairs very well. An overall wonderful atmosphere. I definitely recommend coming here!

Very much enjoyed the Samosa Chat and Chicken Saag and a few other items. Hot fresh and they reviewed spice levels in a helpful way so no surprises. The environment/atmosphere is simply as intended for the Zed which is a at time boisterous and fun. Would very much come for their menu specifically.

If you like Indian food or think you might, this is THEE place to go. They know their spices and have a sensitive pallet. The Chicken Tikka Masala at the very hot level did not disappoint. It was spicy in the hot sense but not so much as to overwhelm the delicate blend of other spice flavors. The portions are generous and filling. The ingredients are fresh. The Gobi Machurian had actual fried curry leaves in it. To say this is my new go-to for Indian food does it no justice. I am only disappointed that I didn't find it sooner, especially because it is in my neighborhood.

I got the Rogan Josh and my wife got the butter chicken! Loved the whole experience and the portions were massive! But delicious!
